The ubiquitn system and protein degradation
The goal of the course is to provide an overview of the components of the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS), its mode of action, its involvement in the regulation of basic cellular process, as well as in inflammation, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. An emphasis will be put on biochemical analysis, molecular tools, mass spectrometry and drug discovery on regulation of cellular processes.
